Cruelty

I stand as a witness to the cruelty caused by those who believe the doctrines of Jehovah’s Witnesses. (Ezekiel 34:4) They show no mercy. (Jeremiah 6:23) You might wonder how they can be cruel.  They seem to be a kind and sweet people as a group, but they have changed the truth about God for a lie. (Romans 1:25) This will destroy them. (Proverbs 11:17) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezekiel%2034%3A4%3B%20Jeremiah%206%3A23%3B%20Romans%201%3A25%3B%20Proverbs%2011%3A17&version=NIV

If you don’t agree with their doctrines, they will end their loving friendship with you. (Psalms 55:12-13) They will turn their backs on you and no longer treat you as that treasured friend, mother, grandmother, aunt or sister, father, grandfather, uncle or brother. (Psalms 119:70) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2055%3A12-13%3B%20Psalm%20119%3A70&version=NIV

There is no freedom of religion, thought or faith in Jehovah’s Witnesses. Your judgment begins the moment you step out of line with their group. They consider this done if you question, speak up, act independently, research outside their publications, or test their doctrine against the scriptures. (1 John 4:1; Acts 17:11; Romans 2:14-15; Jeremiah 31:33) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20John%204%3A1%3B%20Acts%2017%3A11%3B%20Romans%202%3A14-15%3B%20Jeremiah%2031%3A33&version=NIV

I am treated as if I have done something detestable, I am cut off, considered dead.  (Psalms 94:21; 1 John 4:20-21) They believe I deserve the treatment they are showing to me, that the God of love punishes people this way to make them return to him. (1 John 4:18-19) I should come back because of sadness, loneliness, or shame. (Psalms 74:21, Hebrews 12:2) They think somehow that making you worship God by the use of manipulation or force, is fitting. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalms%2094%3A21%3B%201%20John%204%3A20-21%3B%201%20John%204%3A18-19%3B%20Psalms%2074%3A21%2C%20Hebrews%2012%3A2&version=NIV

Perhaps you have never given me a second thought, perhaps you believe now that I am dead to you, that I am also dead to God.  That if I am not a part of your special organization that God cannot find me.  (Psalms 139:7-12) God has found me and cared for me and given me comfort when you would not.  (Psalms 146:9; Psalms 94:22) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%20139%3A7-12%3B%20Psalms%20146%3A9%3B%20Psalms%2094%3A22&version=NIV

Where is the fine testament of your love to Christ?  Is this it? Is this the love Christ commanded us to show to others?  (Mathew 22:36-40) Can you withhold this love from those who do not think the same way you do? Consider the teachings of Christ; Luke 10:27, John 4:24, Luke 10:29-37, John 8:3-11. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2010%3A27%2C%20John%204%3A24%2C%20Luke%2010%3A29-37%2C%20John%208%3A3-11&version=NKJV

Have you broken or are you breaking the law of Christ by your actions?  Are you blindly gulping down the ever-changing commands of men who act as Kings and judges, who also say they are neither inspired nor infallible?  Did God appoint them or you to execute judgment against me, or to become master over my faith?  (James 4:12; Romans 14:4) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%204%3A12%3B%20Romans%2014%3A4&version=NIV

We are called to bear the reproach that Christ bore.  (1 Peter 4:13-14; 2 Corinthians 1:5; 1 Peter 4:16, 19) I am not ashamed of Christ. (Romans 1:16-17) I am loved by him and I find the will to wake up and live each day by his hand. You cannot hide me from Christ’s love, and you cannot stop my faith. (2 Corinthians 13:8) You cannot prevent his blessings, and you cannot make me unworthy of God’s love. (Isaiah 1:18-19) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Peter%204%3A13-14%3B%202%20Corinthians%201%3A5%3B%201%20Peter%204%3A16%2C19%3B%20Romans%201%3A16-17%3B%202%20Corinthians%2013%3A8%3B%20Isaiah%201%3A18-19&version=NIV

Your organization’s desire is to control people with lies and to provide punishment by removing and considering dead, any who are not in agreement. You sever all their relationships, effectively removing all expressions of human loving kindness.  (John 8:44; Nahum 3:19). Your constant cruelty is openly displayed before God.  It is not hidden in the dark. (Ephesians 5:11) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%208%3A44%3B%20Nahum%203%3A19%3B%20Eph%205%3A11&version=NIV
